Free cancellation
Custom tours may be cancelled up to 24 hours before the confirmed departure time for a full refund, unless a different cancellation condition was clearly agreed before payment.
Late cancellations and no-shows
Cancellation requests made less than 24 hours before departure, late arrivals that prevent the tour from running, and no-shows are non-refundable.
Weather, roads and route changes
If weather, road conditions or safety concerns affect the planned route, we may adjust the itinerary, suggest another route or try to reschedule. If Madeira by Locals cancels and no suitable alternative is agreed, you will receive a full refund if payment has already been made.
